User Agreement

Scope and acceptance
This User Agreement governs your use of FootPlay. By accessing or using FootPlay, you agree to these terms. If you use FootPlay for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation.
Accounts, security, and eligibility
You are responsible for account security, activity under your account, and keeping profile and billing information accurate. You must not share credentials, bypass access controls, or attempt unauthorised access to data or systems.
Subscriptions, billing, and plan limits
Paid subscriptions are processed via Stripe and do not auto-renew. Plans require manual renewal before expiry. Plan limits and feature access are enforced in-product and may change with notice. Late or failed payment may result in restricted features, grace-period handling, or suspension.
Cancellations, refunds, and consumer rights
You can cancel subscription renewal before the next billing cycle. Unless required by law, prepaid fees are generally non-refundable. Nothing in this agreement limits non-excludable consumer guarantees or rights under applicable law, including the Australian Consumer Law and New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act/Fair Trading obligations where applicable.
Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of your content. You grant FootPlay a limited licence to host, process, and display that content to operate the service. You confirm you have the rights and permissions required to upload player, team, sponsor, and competition information.
Public pages and acceptable use
Content marked as public may be visible without authentication. You must not use FootPlay to publish unlawful, misleading, defamatory, infringing, or abusive content, or to interfere with the platform, security controls, or other users.
Service availability and changes
We aim to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may update, modify, or retire features to improve security, compliance, or product quality.
Liability and indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FootPlay is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, or for loss of profit, goodwill, or data. You indemnify FootPlay for claims arising from your unlawful use of the service or content you publish without required rights. Liability restrictions do not apply where prohibited by law.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach, security risk, legal reasons, or non-payment. On termination, we may delete or de-identify data after reasonable retention periods, subject to legal obligations.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction nominated in your commercial agreement or, if none is nominated, the operator's primary place of business, subject to mandatory consumer law protections in your country.
